Skip Russell has been a resident of Ruston since 1963 when he came to Louisiana Tech. After graduating with a degree in Education, Skip taught school for 2 years at Lee Jr High in Monroe. He was director of High School relations at Louisiana Tech for 6 years which is where he met his bride, Carolyn. For a short stent Skip worked for US congress with Jerry Huckaby in Washington. Since then, he has been a State Farm Insurance agent for the past 45 years. Skip and Carolyn have 6 kids and 11 grandchildren. Their favorite things to do include any Louisiana Tech sporting event and attending anything their grandchildren are involved in. On any random day you can find Skip on his farm wrangling his 40 cows or 60 miniature horses.

Missy Gibbons is our office manager and the daughter of our agent, Skip. She graduated from Northwestern State University in 2008 and moved back to Ruston to work for State Farm. She has a passion for helping customer through everyday life and preparing for the future. Missy is married to Doug and they have two children, Landry and Caroline. They enjoy Louisiana Tech sporting events and their favorite place to go as a family is Disney World.

Chris Pardon moved to Ruston and joined our team in April of 2014. He comes to us with a combined 12 years of insurance experience. Chris is married to DeShae and has two sons, James and Houston. After he and his wife won a reality TV show based around finding family, they have enjoyed traveling, and spending as much time with family, old and new, as possible.

Sunny has 25 years of insurance experience and has been a part of our team since 2019. The Castines can usually be found grilling on the patio at home or at the lake. Sunny also spends time in her “art house” creating paper flowers.
